Optoisolators are electrical components that are used for electrical isolation and to prevent signals from being grounded. The MOC8204 optoisolator is a type of optoisolator that comes in a 6-pin DIP (dual in-line package) that provides electrical isolation between two circuits. The MOC8204 optoisolator operates in a range of -40°C to 85°C and its typical forward current is 5 mA or less.
