MP2625GL-Z

The MP2625GL-Z is a high-performance multiple-output PMIC - Battery Chargers. It provides up to three adjustable, synchronous step-down converters (buck converters) with a wide input voltage range of 4V to 18V. This PMIC - Battery Chargers is designed to support various loads, such as digital microprocessors, analog and power management circuitry, cameras, batteries, and displays. It features advanced features such as current-mode control (CMC), low-noise pulse and spread spectrum modes, output voltage tracking, and over-current protection.

The MP2625GL-Z can provide up to three configurable step-down converters, each of which can deliver up to 2A current. Each buck converter includes both adjustable and fixed output voltage options. The adjustable output voltage can be set from 0.6V to 1.8V and the fixed output voltage options are 1.5V, 1.8V and 2.5V. It also includes reversed buck and boost configurations when necessary. The MP2625GL-Z also includes an adjustable output voltage for the internal linear regulator, which can be used to generate the logic supply. The buck converters and the internal linear regulator can be synchronized to the same clock, enabling lower power dissipation and better efficiency.

The MP2625GL-Z also features several advanced features such as current-mode control (CMC), spread spectrum mode, low noise pulse modulation and enable/disable control. CMC helps to reduce input ripple and maintain proper output voltage over a wide range of load conditions. Spread spectrum mode helps reduce EMI noise disturbances at the output, while low noise pulse modulation (LNPM) reduces converter noise in the output. The enable/disable control allows each converter to be independently enabled or disabled via the I2C interface.
