Working Principle

The MUR140-AP Diodes - Rectifiers - Single is a p-n junction based device. It comprises of two terminals which are two junctions comprising of a p-type semiconductor and a n-type semiconductor. By building this junction and controlling the voltage across it, rectification can be achieved.The principle of the device is to allow current to flow in one direction only.
