MXD1815UR31+T works based on the voltage monitoring circuit, and has two independent monitoring pins. It also uses a resistor for setting the lower voltage (VOFF) and the upper voltage (VON) threshold of the monitoring signals. The reset output is active low when either of the voltage threshold is exceeded. The Power Good output is active high when the voltage level is between the two preset thresholds (VOFF and VON). Typically, the reset is held low for a certain period of time. The reset is negated after the voltage level is between VOFF and VON for a certain period of time.

MXD1815UR31+T also contains a watchdog that has an independent disabling input. The watchdog is enabled when the timoeut period of the watchdog is exceeded. The timeout period is programmable, and can be in the range of tens of milliseconds to several minutes. The watchdog can also be disabled by connecting this input to the GND. MXD1815UR31+T is available in SOT23 package which measures 3mm x 3mm, and operates wide temperature range (-40℃ to 85℃).
