Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) are widely used in the protection of electrical circuits from over-voltage transients due to causes such as static discharge and high-capacity electrical and electromagnetic fields. TVS diodes are an important and reliable component in the prevention of damaging over-voltage spikes.

The MXSMLG130A is a state-of-the-art, state-of-the-art transient voltage suppressor (TVS) device designed to protect against destructive transient over-voltages, especially when mains power is suddenly applied or turned off. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 4,000W (10/1000 μs pulse width) and a peak surge current of 40A (8/20 μs waveform), the MXSMLG130A is designed to provide excellent protection against fast rising transients.

The MXSMLG130A has a wide variety of applications in fields such as power systems, automotive and industrial applications, and communication networks.
