The NB7L111MMNG is a clock buffer, driver and bus switch that enables long and short traces to be used in personal computer (PC) applications. The NB7L111MMNG provides high performance, robust timing and selectable output levels of 3.3V, and 2400ps/2500ps (max.) on/off switching time to meet the requirements of high speed DDR3, DDR4, and GDDR® memories. This enables systems to be designed with a single device that saves board space and parts count.
The NB7L111MMNG is designed to drive high speed clock and data buses in graphics cards, motherboards and embedded components. It is a complete clock buffer, driver and switch providing an integrated, cost effective bus solution that is easy to implement. The device includes 1:2 LVDS clock fanout (analog switching), data isolation and high performance ESD protection on the outputs. The NB7L111MMNG also provides I/O combination options between LVDS, SSTL_2, SSTL_15, HSTL_15, and LVPECL.
The high performance clock buffer, driver and switch can be used with both single-ended and differential signals. It is compatible with a wide variety of DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, GDDR, QDR and MDR interfaces. The device also supports a variety of clock signal types including differential, single-ended, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5.0V, as well as selectable output levels from 1.0V to 5.5V. The low jitter clock buffer is designed to meet fast clock signal requirements, with a maximum clock frequency of up to 250MHz.
