NB7LQ572MNR4G is a kind of clock buffer, driver, and gate. It is designed for clock and data distribution applications in the field of communication and computing. The integrated circuit consists of two output buffers, each with individually selectable outputs. The device enables buffered data and clock distribution while routing multiple (clock and/or data) signals to a common output or multiple outputs.
The NB7LQ572MNR4G operates with 2 different output logic families: type A is a logic I/O family and type B is a logic LVTTL family. The A type device outputs are inverted while the B type device outputs are non-inverted. It is also able to take in 3 different frequency ranges at 1.3, 2.2 and 3.3 V. It is powered from a single 5 V supply, except for the 3.3 V frequency.
The device can operate at a wide range of speeds with its high drive current for low skew and power dissipation. Its powerful output drivers can boost signal integrity even under a heavy load environment.
In addition, for architecture flexibility it has multiplexers that allow for reconfigurable outputs and therefore increased system performance.
The NB7LQ572MNR4G is assembled in a TSSOP-20 package, allowing the integration of multiple features such as selectable outputs, enable/disable control, and clock or data multiplexers functions. All pins are configured as receive and drive logic I/O compatible family type either A or B.
The device uses a low-power clock buffer operation in order to reduce system power consumption. Its output buffer is designed for high speed and low power operation, and the multiplexers enable reconfigurability of the outputs.
The clock buffer and multiplexers are controlled by a master clock input and enable/disable control pins. The enable/disable control pins can be used to enable or disable outputs independently.
The output logic of the NB7LQ572MNR4G is statically programmable. It can be set to either "1" (active) or "0" (inactive). The output logic can be inverted or non-inverted depending on the type of family used.
