The core of the Frequency Synthesizer, NBC12430AMNR4G is a triple-output clock Generator which can generate multiple high-quality clock signals. These high frequency clock signals are generated by the Modem Clock Synchronisation (MCS) from NXP semiconductors. The inputs to the MCS are the selected input signal and its reference clock, also referred to as the reference frequency. The device then synchronises each of the frequency inputs and generates a clock signal.
The Synthesizer achieves its high performance through its use of a dual-feedback control architecture. This allows the device to measure the phase and frequency of the input signals and output the clock signal with a greatly improved accuracy. The dual-feedback control is also able to maintain the clock signal in its original frequency and amplitude by taking into account any changes in the input signal.
