NCP303LSN28T1 is a CMOS resetting circuit which belongs to Supervisors peripheral management integrated circuits (PMIC - Supervisors) within the family of peripheral devices for electronic circuits. It is a low power, low voltage, fault-tolerant single-channel supervisor circuit. It is ideal for use in applications that require a reset output from a microcontroller as a result of the set conditions.

The NCP303LSN28T1 features an input monitor with a selectable monitor threshold, a selectable reset active level, an adjustable reset time and automatic reset with power-on or manual reset. The power-on reset (POR) and manual reset (MR) logic are generated internally by the NCP303LSN28T1. It is also designed to provide an early warning system of power fault conditions in applications where a microcontroller needs to be reset quickly and accurately on fault detection.

The manual reset logic is used for manually resetting the circuitry. The control logic provides a selectable option for resetting the circuitry either by power-on reset or manual reset.

The reset output consists of the reset pulse output and the reset active level. The reset pulse output is the adjustable delay reset pulse generated by the counter and is used to reset the microcontroller. The reset active level is used to indicate the resetting of the microcontroller. It is adjustable and is used to set the resetting voltage of the microcontroller.
