NCP331SNT1GEVB is an Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit that is designed by Murata for DC-DC Converters. The kit also includes an integrated external synchronization pin for the input voltage range and output voltage range.The working principle of NCP331SNT1GEVB is based on a DC-DC converter technology. This kit includes a switching controller that will regulate the output voltage to a predetermined level, regardless of the input voltage fluctuations. The output voltage is determined by a set of external resistors. The switching controller converts the input voltage into the desired output voltage through a power stage which consists of a main switch, a rectifier, an output filter capacitor, and an inductor.The switching controller also regulates the current and voltage at the input and output terminals to achieve a constant voltage output. The input voltage range and the output voltage range can be adjusted with external resistors.The kit includes a stepping-up and stepping-down controllers that allow for circuits of different input/output voltage ratios. These controllers can be used with the output filter capacitor for low EMI output.
