The NCP5332ADWR2 is a 3V/5V dual mode, low dropout (LDO) regulator, aimed at achieving lowest possible power dissipation with low part count for variety of RF and analog loads at Lithium-ion platform. This device targets wide range of space limited, low power applications like USB power port and portable audio docking stations and phones with its surface mount package.

This device is particularly suited for applications which require flexibility, and typical applications include RF transceivers, audio power amplifiers, and low power processor cores. This device is designed to regulate two different loads with two separate output voltages (3.3V and 5V) using a single Chip Select pin. The NCP5332ADWR2 can also be used to regulate negative and positive voltages when used in a synchronous buck-boost mode.

At the heart of the NCP5332ADWR2 is the integrated power stage featuring two low-on-resistance NMOSFETs. This allows the device to provide up to 9A of continuous output current capability and a maximum peak current of 15A.
