The NCV51460SN33T1G is a Linear Voltage Regulator (LVR) designed to provide a regulated output voltage of 5V from any input voltage from 2.85V to 6V. It features adjustable current limiting and a thermal shutdown protection mechanism to protect against over-voltage and short-circuit conditions. The LVR also provides a high-side over-voltage protection circuit, which is triggered when the input voltage exceeds 6.1V.The NCV51460SN33T1G is a Pulse-width-modulated (PWM) DC/DC converter with a current-mode control system. It features an automatic shut-off function that shuts off the output voltage of the device when the input voltage exceeds 6.8V. It also has an automatic thermal restoration function that restores the output voltage once the temperature drops below a certain threshold.This Linear Voltage Regulator can adjust its output voltage based on the average current drawn by the load, and it also has a soft start feature that limits the initial inrush current peak to prevent overloading of the input power supply. The LVR has a maximum output current of 100mA and a tolerance of 4% of its setpoint. It offers excellent transient response characteristics and can be used to power a wide variety of applications such as handheld devices and embedded systems.The NCV51460SN33T1G has a Power Good output that indicates when the output voltage is within the specified range.
