NCV7381DP0R2G is an integrated transmitter for Lighting and Automotive CAN, CAN FD and SENT networks. It contains one CAN transceiver with an integrated DC-DC converter and an external Resistor. The NCV7381DP0R2G is a high-speed CAN transceiver designed according to ISO 11898-2 for automotive and industrial applications.
The NCV7381DP0R2G supports up to 1 Mbps data rate for a maximum cable length of 40 meters. The active interface circuitry provides differential transmit capability, and the driver provides low quiescent current and low power consumption. The NCV7381DP0R2G also supports CAN FD speeds up to 8 Mbps. It is able to implement CAN FD while still providing the capability of legacy CAN support.
The integrated DC-DC converter in the NCV7381DP0R2G is an isolation controller powered by the CAN bus voltage.
