The device’s wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +125°C) ensures reliable performance in an extended range of automotive applications. The device also offers undervoltage lockout, as well as one enable/disable pin.
In addition, the NCV7720DQR2G features two 0.75 A integrated MOSFETs that provide fast switching and low output noise, a low on-resistance of only 2.5 mΩ and the ability to withstand a maximum peak current of 700 mA. By storing the off-time, on-time and dead-time of the buck converter, the device can provide a constant output voltage with variable load conditions. The IC also features an adjustable dead time, as well as a programmable soft-start to reduce the inrush current at start-up.
