NCV7704DQR2G is a highly integrated power management integrated circuit (PMIC) specially designed for applications requiring low RDS(on) in the battery path and high efficiency in the power path. This NCV7704DQR2G achieves optimal power efficiency in high current and low supply voltage environments such as smartwatches, wearable devices, small physical equipment and drones. It integrates high efficiency synchronous buck, LDOs and voltage supervisors. This meant to make the circuit board easier to design and reduce the volume, while supplying multiple channels to power or monitor the supply voltages. Therefore, this is a highly desirable and specialized device in the power management (PMIC) realm.
The first step of the NCV7704DQR2G working principle is how it transports from the governing power source to enable the battery pack. This is where the high-and low-side N-channel Enhanced MOSFETs come into play.
