Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors make use of the principle of electrolytic deposition of a dielectric material on the surface of an aluminum foil or an anode made from aluminum. The property of a capacitor is mainly dependent on the surface area of the aluminum anode and the distance between the anode and the cathodic layer. The ability of the Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor to store large amounts of electrical charge is remarkable and has a wide range of applications in almost all electronic devices.
