The NTB0102GT is a product in the family of logic-translators and level shifters, produced by ON Semiconductor. It is a low-side, dual-channel N-channel power MOSFET, designed to allow interface between two independent power domains with different voltage levels. It operates readily at voltages up to 18V and acts as an electrical level converter, providing a full ON/OFF path between two different voltage levels. It is pin-to-pin compatible with the popular Si2302 device, with the added feature off supporting voltages up to 18V.

Working Principle

The NTB0102GT is designed to provide an electrical level shifter between two power domains with different voltage levels. When the two power domains are at different voltage levels, the FET conducts current between them and a logic gate. Thus, it acts as a voltage regulator by allowing the logic gate to communicate between the two power domains, providing a full ON/OFF logic path.

Additionally, the NTB0102GT is designed to support up to 18V voltage levels and can also be used as a load switch or a charge pump. It supports various features, including reverse battery protection, over-current protection, over-temperature protection, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. It is also capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and is RoHS compliant.
