OM13333,598 LED driver is designed for LED applications, offering 10kV ESD protection to LED systems. It integrates two voltage sources and LED current source. The LED current is regulated through a high accuracy current regulator and the external red, green and blue LED voltage values is monitored and referred without the need of any comparators or operational amplifiers. Moreover, it is designed for 8 - 32V input and outputs up to 20W power.

The LED driver supports three different operating modes:

• Constant current mode: This regulates LED diode to a fixed current which is programmed through the LED current control register.
• Constant voltage mode: This regulates the LED output voltage through the LED voltage control register, and will provide a constant voltage to all the LEDs connected to the driver.
• Open drain mode: This mode sends the output voltage directly to the LED and is independent of the voltage accuracy.
