Because this diode is an avalanche type, it can handle a wide range of input voltages up to 6.0kV. It also has an extremely fast response time of < 1ns, making it ideal for high-speed applications. The PGSMAJ6.0CA R3G is an ideal protection diode for faster communication systems as it can protect against signal distortion from noise, crosstalk, and EMI. The PGSMAJ6.0CA R3G features very low capacitance of 0.7 pF, allowing for low frequency lost on communication lines. The device also features a low threshold voltage, which makes it perfect for higher speed transmission lines.
