The PI6C2409-1HWIE is a clock generator, phase-locked loop (PLL), Frequency Synthesizer and timing solution that is ideal for networking, automotive, and any other system where high frequency accuracy is needed. It integrates four basic functions: a PLL to synthesize high-precision clock signals; an oscillator-based frequency synthesizer to generate frequencies up to 500 MHz; a frequency divider for accurate frequency accuracy over a range of frequency ratios; and a timer for precise timing requirements. The PI6C2409-1HWIE is designed to optimize the power and performance of high-speed communication systems, automotive applications, and other applications requiring high frequency accuracy and jitter management.

The PI6C2409-1HWIE is a monolithic clock generator, PLL and frequency synthesizer integrated on a single semiconductor die. It is a high-performance, low-power solution with an extremely small form factor. It offers an advanced solution for clock generation, PLL frequency synthesis and timing between devices. It features both a reference clock and a programmable frequency oscillator module which can be used to generate precise frequency timing relationships.
