PI6C49006AEX features a competitive and high-performance Oscillator Circuitry. It combined a 4-input multiplexer and PLL, offer superior phase jitter performance of less than 0.78 ps RMS. It also integrates a calibrated VCXO mode to generate an optimal frequency selection with no external components, which can reduce the external components and simplify application designs. Furthermore, it boast an output frequency range of 12 KHz to 600+ MHz while providing superior phase jitter performance. The output DRPLL helps to achieve extremely low and constant output phase jitter at all frequencies.

PI6C49006AEX\'s input-multiplexer designed for multiple input timing sources. This can be triggered from a wide range of sources include external bi-level and three-state logic, external differential signals and crystal generated signals. This provides flexibility for any complex system designs. To further enhance system performance, it also supports a large selection of output frequencies from 250 MHz to 600+ MHz and a wide range of output frequencies as high as 1000 MHz, which is an industry standard.

PI6C49006AEX has two 2 GHz differential output banks, each with 2 control signals. On power-up, the PI6C49006AEX will generate an output signal to indicate a valid output frequency is available. It supports frequency synthesis, frequency modulation and spread spectrum clocking with adjustable bandwidth and methods. It also provides a wide selection of output waveforms and adjustable output buffer delays.

The PI6C49006AEX is provided with a full suite of integrated on-chip features including a reference voltage sense, PLL Voltage output, temperature sensing, current sensing and an integrated ESD guard. It also provides integrated ESD protection for most input/output pins and an on-chip power decoupling capacitor for additional ESD protection.
