PL133-47QI is a type of single chip clock generator with a high frequency synthesizing circuit. It can generate high precision clock signals, covering a frequency range from 1MHz to 1.7GHz. Moreover, it has very low phase noise and stable performance. As a result, PL133-47QI can be used in multiple electronic application fields, such as communication products, receiver-transmitter products, industries control, measurement and testing. Working principle of PL133-47QI is for the chip to use GPS L1 C/A data as the input, to generate external clock signal. It also uses input PPS signals as the reference clock or as feedback signal, to help it produce a more accurate PLL frequency synthesizing.

PL133-47QI uses a TCXO as its clock source and the frequency of the TCXO is 1 MHz. With its built in divider, it can divide the 1MHz signal into 10kHz, 10Mhz and 150MHz. The 150 MHz signal is used as the VCO(voltage controlled oscillator) and PL133-47QI can generate a frequency which is the multiple of 150MHz signal, covering a frequency range from 1MHz to 1.7GHz.

PL133-47QI also has a low pass filter, LC filter and divider built-in. It uses the signal from TCXO as the feedback signal to compare and compesate the output signal of PLL system, to ensure its high stability and low phase noise.

PL133-47QI has two input control ports which are POD and PI. POD can be digital control or analog control, and PI is a 3 pin configuration. These two ports can be used to adjust the oscillator’s frequency range and output signal, thus to enable it to produce a wide range of output clock signals.

It has a efficient working principle, using several components to control and regulate the signal output to achieve a better clock signal precision.
