PL600-27TTI-R

PL600-27TTI-R is a highly integrated programmable frequency synthesizer. It provides a comprehensive solution for frequency conversion, synchronization and control. The PL600-27TTI-R may be used as a general purpose clock generator, a phase locked loop (PLL), or a frequency synthesizer in a variety of field applications.

Working Principle

The PL600-27TTI-R works by dividing a very high frequency reference signal down to a low output frequency. The reference frequency is generated on-chip inside the Integrated Circuit (IC) and is usually a multiple of 1 MHz multiplied by the total number of channels available in the device. This is then divided down to the desired output frequency by a digital divider followed by an output divider, which can be programmed in 1/8 increments.

The device also supports several programmable frequency dividers and digital dividers that allow for further flexibility to divide, multiply and reduce the reference frequency to the desired output frequency. The PL600-27TTI-R also features a selectable output drive level, normal outcome disable, power-down mode and low frequency leakage for improved system performance.

The PL600-27TTI-R is also equipped with an on-chip oscillator circuit that is able to minimize offsets and jitter during the frequency conversion process. The oscillator circuit also allows for the device to be adapted better to different system requirements, as well as providing more accurate frequencies.
