Working Principle:
PL602033UMG-TR is a fractional-N frequency synthesis module integrates PLL and VCO circuit. It generates an accurate output-frequency signal with low-phase noise over a large range. It works based on the PLL feedback principle. According to VCO output frequency, the PFD (phase frequency detector) detects the phase difference between two input signals – a reference clock signal and a feedback signal from the VCO circuit. The PLL loop compares the two signals and parameter values are adjusted automatically to maintain a constant phase difference. When the parameter changes, the VCO output frequency accelerates or decelerates to uphold a consistent phase difference, thus creating a stable, accurate output clock signal.
