Common Mode Chokes, or CMCs, are a type of reactive component which works by providing the user with an increased electromagnetic isolation between two circuits. This piece of equipment, the PL8209NL, is a common mode choke that is used to reduce the amount of common mode noise and interference on two separate signal paths.
