Gas Discharge Tube Arresters (GDT)
Gas Discharge Tube Arresters (GDT) are electric protection devices that protect electrical systems from lightening strikes and overvoltage transients. They have been designed to disconnect lightening or other transient signals that exceed their trigger voltage. GDT\'s are generally installed at the site of an incoming power line or other equipment that can be prone to lightening strikes.
PMT835004F GDT is a series of surge arrester produced by Peide company. It can be used in power networks with 240/415/450V AC systems, and it is mainly used to protect against fast, intermittently occurring overvoltage. Working Principle
PMT835004F GDTs uses the two-electrode principle to provide electric protection.
