The PS398CSE Interface - Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers range is an advanced circuit protection solution used in a wide range of applications where reliable and high-performance circuit protection is of great importance. The PS398CSE is designed with a three-level power shut-down system to ensure safe system operation. The topmost level of protection features dv/dt monitoring that shuts down the power supply when the dv/dt exceeds the preset limit. The second level of protection features overvoltage and undershoot monitoring that shuts down the power supply when the voltage exceeds the preset limit. The bottommost level of protection features current limit monitoring that shuts down the power supply when the current exceeds the preset limit.
PS398CSE\'s switches have the capability to transfer analogue signals between the primary and secondary side of the circuit without introducing noise to the analog signal. They can support switching operations between the primary and secondary side while maintaining low input capacitance, low output voltage drop, and high current levels. The integrated demultiplexer in the switch enables the circuit to be configured in a way so that only a specific part of the circuit is powered on while the rest is powered off.
