Aluminum Electrolytic capacitors are electrical components that store electric energy in an electrostatic field, created by the combination of ions and electrons on two metallic plates filled with an electrolyte. The goal of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor is to store energy in one of two forms, either stored energy that can be released as a short burst of electrical current, or an electrostatic barrier to block current flow.
