The RT6296AGJ8F is a step-down synchronous switching regulator module which is embedded with a controller IC, MOSFETs, inductor, and passive components in a compact 10 pin SIP package. It supports up to 5A output current supplied from a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V and can generate output voltages down to 1.2V. It comes with high efficiency with extremely low operating current (as low as 50µA). Working Principle

When the OCCP is active, the IC will limit the current during the current on cycle and will not enter the PWM regulation region.
