RT6296FGJ8F offers an ideal solution by combining faster soft start, higher efficiency, faster transient response, and very low operating current into a low-cost, small 3-x-3mm QFN package.

The RT6296FGJ8F is a monolithic, low-dropout regulator (LDO) with integrated active low-side MOSFETs and high-side MOSFETs. It supports up to 3A load current, wide input range from 3.2V to 28V, and adjustable output voltage from 0.8V to 28V. Moreover, it employs adaptive N-Channel MOSFETs to maintain the current-mode constant on-time control architecture while the system is in light-load operation and output voltage tracking to reduce input-ripple current. The RT6296FGJ8F also includes a switching mode pre-regulator to prevent any input ripple from entering the Richtek’s Linear Regulator.

The RT6296FGJ8F features an integrated adjustable soft-start function which eliminates sudden currents from the system during startup and minimize the inrush current.
