The RT8859AGQW is a special purpose, 3-phase synchronous buck converter from Richtek. This device combines the features of both a synchronous buck regulator and a phase shift controller. It includes an integrated, high-efficiency, 3-phase PWM controller, voltage reference, current sensing amplifier, gate drivers and a high-side and low-side MOSFET driver. The RT8859AGQW can be used for power supplies such as AC-DC single output, benchtop and/or ATX μATX/Mini-ITX type power supplies. It is an ideal solution for multiple logical power rail designs in processors, graphics chips, FPGAs, and ASICs.

The RT8859AGQW operates in the 3.3V ~ 5.5V input voltage range, and is compatible with Power-Good signals, over voltage protections (OVP) and more. The RT8859AGQW provides multiple output voltage options that range from 0.8V to 1.5V and are programmable via external resistors or external DAC settings.
