During normal operations, the RXE040 will pass through DC current up to 0.4A, and if the current exceeds the rated level, the fuse will “trip”, limiting the current flowing through the protected circuits.The working principle of the RXE040 is based on the inherent characteristics of a PTC thermistor. When the initial break-point is exceeded, the RXE040 enters the “tripped” state and suppresses circuit.
