S1GLHRFG Application Field and Working Principle

S1GLHRFG, also known as Silicon 1 Groove Half Rectifier, is a type of diode rectifier used for alternating current applications. The S1GLHRFG rectifier is different from a full-wave rectifier in that it only rectifies a portion of the input waveform. Working Principle

The operation of a S1GLHRFG rectifier can be understood using a simplified circuit diagram of two diodes. When the AC voltage source provides a positive voltage at the anode of the diode connected to the load, the diode becomes forward biased and conducts current from the anode to the cathode. Conversely, when the AC voltage source has a negative voltage, the diode connected to the load becomes reverse biased and does not conduct current. The S1GLHRFG rectifier works by accepting an AC voltage waveform and delivers only the positive halves of the wave.
