The S912XET256BMALR is an embedded microcontroller system with 256KB of static RAM (SRAM) for storing and executing instructions. It is designed to minimize space and power consumed, making it suitable for space-constrained applications such as in embedded systems. The controller features industry-standard 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-A9 processor core with an additional low-power coprocessor for better energy efficiency. The integrated static RAMs allow for faster processing with low power consumption.

The S912XET256BMALR is well-suited for applications requiring high-speed algorithms, real-time control, and with minimal system resources. The S912XET256BMALR works on the Von Neumann architecture, and employs different hardware components such as control unit, processing unit, clock oscillator, instruction counter and fetch unit, program counter, register file, ALU and cache memory to carry out different processes necessary for functioning. The CPU communicates and integrates with the peripherals including serial ports, timers, GPIOs, analog channels and more. The instructions to execute are taken from RAM and sent to the control unit, which in turn determines the type of instruction to process and its corresponding operation. Data manipulation and arithmetic operations are carried out by ALU. The CPU further fetches the output from ALU and stores it to the register files.

Next, the instruction is decoded and the control signals are sent to the memory cache, data bus and other peripheral devices. If the instruction involves data manipulation, the data is fetched from the main memory, RAM and registers and sent to the bus and peripherals via the control unit. The S912XET256BMALR microcontroller runs at up to 400MHz and uses less than 3 microamps (μA) of current while in deep sleep state while operating at 1.8V.

The S912XET256BMALR embedded microcontroller system is an ideal solution for a wide range of control and data processing applications. The system provides high performance and energy efficiency in applications such as industrial, aerospace, IP surveillance systems, motor controllers, entertainment systems and more.
