S9S08SG16E1CTL Application Field and Working Principle

S9S08SG16E1CTL microcontrollers are a family of 8-bit microcontrollers from NXP Semiconductors (formerly Motorola Semiconductors). They are based on the S08 and S08HS architectures from Motorola, and are used in embedded applications. The S9S08SG16E1CTL microcontroller family is designed for multiple applications, including industrial, automotive, and other embedded applications.

S9S08SG16E1CTL microcontrollers are based upon an 8-bit architecture, which makes them very cost effective. The device has up to 16kB of on-chip Flash memory and up to 1kB of RAM.
