Working Principle of SA45CAHA0G

This causes the voltage to drop and thus prevents the overvoltage from damaging sensitive electronics.
The SA45CAHA0G has a fast reaction time of 0.5 ns, which enables the diode to clap the voltage in time before it damages the electronic systems. Its high surge capability passed the IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 standard, meaning it is capable of withstanding 8 kV discharges of air gap.
