Working Principle

The CITSTRT architectures use a high-bandwidth current loop to regulate the peak current in the power switches. This removed the usual slow-response lag of peak current control and enable it to respond to fast load transients, resulting in improved transient response and reduced output noise. Furthermore, the CITSTRT feature can be used in conjunction with the voltage mode control of the controller to provide stability during high-load transients.
