Fixed Inductors

Working Principle

The SD25-220-R fixed inductor works on a simple principle. When electricity is applied to the inductor, an electric current is created in the wire in a winding form. The current then creates a magnetic field inside the coil which induces a second EMF into the windings. This EMF is in the opposite direction to the current, resulting in a resistance to the flow of current, and an increase in the inductance of the component.

The SD25-220-R is designed to handle up to 220 Amps of current and 35 mH (millihenries) of inductance, while operating at a maximum temperature of 125C. Additionally, the device offers a very wide voltage range, from 10 to 400V, giving it a great power efficiency and reliability in both AC and DC applications.
