SE5004L-EK1

The SE5004L-EK1 reference design blends a low noise amplifier (LNA), a transmit/receive switch (T/R switch), and a doherty power amplifier (DPA) to form an advanced RF power amplifier solution. In its reference design state, it is ready-to-go for cellular and other related applications, with the ability to operate from a 5 or 7V power supply. The SE5004L-EK1 reference design operates as both a transmitter and a receiver, utilizing its LNA and T/R switch. When switching between transmit and receive modes, the T/R switch will enable the required signal path. The SE5004L-EK1’s Doherty power amplifier is capable of producing an output power of over 33dBm (500mW) with a gain of over 30dB. It is also able to achieve a high power added efficiency (PAE) of over 40%. The small size and broadband design of the SE5004L-EK1 allow it to be used in a variety of applications from VHF to UHF.
