Application Field

SF4004-TR rectifiers are extensively used in electronic circuits for rectification, auto electronic systems and different electrical equipment. Working Principle

Rectifier diodes are used to convert AC voltage to DC voltage. This is done by allowing current in one direction and blocking current in the other direction. When a negative voltage is applied to the anode, the silicon material becomes reverse-biased and conductance is blocked. This prevents any current from flowing in the reverse direction. This same mechanism can be used to block current from flowing in either direction with a high resistance diode.
