The device is programmed both at the time of production and at the time of installation using a programming method that enables frequency adjustment in small increments. The PLL locks the selected clock reference source to the internally-generated high frequency clock.The device features an integrated spread spectrum modulation engine to minimize the amount of interference generated by transmitting clock signals.
