The device is programmed both at the time of production and at the time of installation using a programming method that enables frequency adjustment in small increments. The device can also be engineered to Ethernet or other synchronization sources. The PLL locks the selected clock reference source to the internally-generated high frequency clock.The device features an integrated spread spectrum modulation engine to minimize the amount of interference generated by transmitting clock signals. The spread spectrum engine modulates the clock signal by intentionally spreading its frequency spectrum according to user-specified parameters.
