SI5335A-B04668-GMR is a clock generator, phase-locked loop (PLL) and frequency synthesizer designed to provide best-in-class timing and frequency performance for a variety of applications. Its feature set and advantages make it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications such as router, switch, network interface cards, server/storage and enterprise networking equipment.The SI5335A-B04668-GMR is a single, high-performance solution for reference clock generation, signal distribution, PLLs and frequency synthesizers used in the communications and enterprise industries. With the frequency range of 10 MHz to 1 GHz, the SI5335A-B04668-GMR provides Programmable Output Clock Divider (OCD), Multi-Output Sources for Multiple Clock Reference Sources, Digital Clock Synthesis and Mixing and On-Chip Damping of Oscillator Phase Jitter. As part of the Si5335 family, the SI5335A-B04668-GMR supports Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Multiple Fiber Channel and ATM and supports 8 reference sources for multiple clock reference sources as well as distributed synchronization through an integrated1-Wire/I2C interface and multi-clock distribution. Featuring a low-power and small footprint, the SI5335A-B04668-GMR is ideal for reducing power dissipation, improving system density and lowering system costs. It also offers high jitter and noise immunity to ensure robust communications and system robustness.The SI5335A-B04668-GMR has several key features that make it an ideal option for a variety of applications. The multi-output sources allow for multiple clock references to provide improved system timing and reduce jitter. Its programmable output clock divider provides control over clock output frequencies, enabling flexible, reliable and efficient system designs. The on-chip damping of oscillator phase jitter reduces EMI and improves system performance. The integrated 1-Wire/I2C interface allows for distributed synchronization. Finally, the SI5335A-B04668-GMR supports the use of clock sources with varying frequencies and jitter levels, allowing for a higher level of flexibility in system design and implementation.The SI5335A-B04668-GMR is designed to operate at a low voltage of 1.2 V and consumes only 50 mW at full load.
