SI5335B-B05157-GMR is a high-performance Clock Generator, PLL and Frequency Synthesizer product from Silicon Laboratories. It includes up to four differential output clocks derived from any of the clock generators and/or synthesizers, and supports up to ten differential input references. The clock generator and frequency synthesizer utilize a patent-pending, high-resolution output switching mechanism providing jitter-free and glitch-free clock switching to all four differential outputs. The SI5335B-B05157-GMR has excellent frequency accuracy and stability over a wide range of operating conditions.The integrated PLL, controlled by the Silicon Labs clock management software and firmware, allows users to synthesize output frequencies from 1 kHz to 400 MHz across any of the four outputs, with an output frequency accuracy of 0.2 ppm and a jitter of less than 2 ps RMSc with a 12 kHz to 20 MHz reference. The integrated PLL also supports multi-loop operation and Spread-Spectrum techniques (SS) for reducing the generation of electromagnetic interference (EMI).The SI5335B-B05157-GMR is compliant with the PCI-Express 3.0 specifications, supporting a PCIe 3.0 link operating at up to 8.1 Gbps. The PCIe interface supports forward equalization and pre-emphasis, and PCIe 100MHz receivers are integrated to support 8bit transmission.The SI5335B-B05157-GMR is a fully integrated device that supports a variety of applications. In communications and consumer systems, it is used as a network switch clock sources and as a clock source for video applications. In automotive, it is used as a clock source for infotainment modules as well as for sensors and cameras. In industrial and medical equipment, it is used to create Stepper Motor and Laser Diode clocks, as well as for communication interface controllers.The SI5335B-B05157-GMR operates in the industrial temperature range of -40 to +85°C with a low power consumption of 145 mW.
