The SI5335D-B02031-GM offers a wide range of input and output frequencies, with high accuracy and jitter performance while supporting single-ended or differential input supply voltages. Internally, the SI5335D-B02031-GM contains a Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) to generate the desired output frequencies. Like other PLLs, it is composed of a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), a Phase Frequency Detector (PFD), and a Charge Pump, along with a handful of necessary analog and digital elements. By adjusting the voltage of the VCO, the frequency output by the chip can be manipulated.
