The SI5335D-B02120-GM uses a wide range of crystal frequency input and works with any frequency from 19.44 kHz up to 400 kHz. It can output a wide range of frequencies from 1 kHz to 300 MHz. The clock generator is capable of generating up to five LVCMOS or LVDS outputs at the same time, with selectable output voltage ranges from 1.2V to 2.5V and frequency ranges from 1 kHz to 300 MHz. The SI5335D-B02120-GM is also programmable via I2C interface, allowing it to be customized for a wide range of applications.
The SI5335D-B02120-GM features a high-performance PLL which delivers ultra-low jitter between the output and input reference clocks, enabling excellent phase noise immunity. The device incorporates a numeral-controlled loop integrated into the device to provide exceptional frequency stability and accuracy through 0.3 ppm per degree Celsius temperature coefficient. The PLL also features low offset asymmetry and wide loop bandwidth for fast locking time and input noise rejection.
The SI5335D-B02120-GM also offers an integrated Fractional-N fractional frequency synthesis (FPS) for generating ultra-low jitter and low harmonic output frequencies. It is designed for use in applications requiring wide frequency coverage such as wireless infrastructure, optical networks, and medical imaging. It features integer as well as fractional frequency division factors and offers more flexible frequency synthesis capability than traditional fixed-division applications. The DPS also has a low accumulation mode spurs and a low additional-harmonic spurs to allow for the generation of very clean phase noise.
