The SI5335D-B06023-GMR is a low-power and low jitter, programmable integer-N PLL clock generator with high frequency precision and stability. It is designed to replace existing quartz crystal-based clock oscillators. The SI5335D-B06023-GMR is part of the IDT Clock Block™ family of products, which feature integrated solutions that are ideal for switching frequency and multi-phase applications. The SI5335D-B06023-GMR supports 12 multipliers, 6 dividers, 4 output dividers and differential LVDS outputs. The SI5335D-B06023-GMR is ideal for high performance applications such as clocks for high speed ASICs, FPGAs, CPLDs and SerDes. It can also be used in data communication and computing applications, including timing and synchronizing of peripherals, memory and networking devices. The device can generate up to 8 complex clock outputs, providing redundancy, a time saving for system designs. The SI5335D-B06023-GMR is based on a digital frequency synthesizer architecture. The device uses a single, fixed frequency clock from an external source that is multiplied up or down to program output frequencies ranging from DC to 500 MHz. The system consists of selectable frequency Integer-N PLLs, a feedback divider, a power divider, a reference divider and an output divider. This approach allows for unlimited user control and flexibility over a wide range of output frequencies. The SI5335D-B06023-GMR is designed to provide low jitter, up to 250fs RMS, and high frequency stability, to within +/- 50ppm over the entire operating temperature range.The SI5335D-B06023-GMR also provides low power consumption, as low as 2.5 mW in shutdown mode. In addition, the device features integrated power management features, such as PowerWise functionality and adjustable output power.
