The SI5338A-B07245-GM is a Clock/Timing - Application Specific device. It is a clock generator optimized for high-speed data communication applications. The device integrates a flexible operating frequency from 10MHz to 1450MHz, low jitter and exceptional jitter performance at the fractional PLL output. It can be used to generate numerous combinations of clock frequencies, duty cycles and phase offsets for a wide variety of datacom applications.

The SI5338A-B07245-GM supports a wide variety of input reference options including LVCMOS, LVDS, crystal up to 75MHz, and selectable Spread Spectrum Clocking (SSC). It has two differential outputs and one single-ended output, while outputs can be programmed to provide a wide range of frequencies, duty cycles and phase shifts or to provide additional clocks.

The SI5338A-B07245-GM can be programmed using several different methods to ensure that it is configured with the best clarity possible. It includes a double data rate (DDR) option, which means that the phase and frequency can be adjusted when SSC is enabled. It also includes a phase jitter reduction feature to improve phase jitter performance.
