It also provides the ability to tune the VCO for maximum noise performance.

The PLL configuration allows for a wide range of input frequencies from 32 KHz to 360 MHz, with no external components. The multiple-clock synthesizer can output up to 16 frequencies of arbitrary ratio from 0.25 to 16. The device supports both standard and self-calibrating Othello chips.
