The SI5338C-B07088-GM is a Clock/Timing - Application Specific. It is a high-performance clock signal generator capable of producing exceptionally clean and accurate signals at frequencies ranging from 1GHz to 6GHz. It is designed to address a variety of applications, including automotive infotainment, mobile communications, medical imaging, broadcast and point-of-sale. The device is based on a fully-integrated, low power on-chip oscillator and can produce up to five output frequencies simultaneously.The SI5338C-B07088-GM incorporates several features that enable high-precision timing, such as integrated frequency synthesizing, spread-spectrum clocking, and a two-stage Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). This provides a low jitter solution for any need in data processing, telecom, or industrial/military applications. The fully-integrated design features an on-chip frequency synthesizer with preciseStep Size, which allows for precise tuning over a wide frequency range. A PLL-based frequency multiplier can be used for frequencies up to 500MHz and sine waves up to 250MHz.The integrated PLL circuitry in the SI5338C-B07088-GM allows for quick and easy locking to an external clock signal, supporting a wide range of input frequencies from 1MHz to 250MHz. It also allows for pre-configuration of up to five output frequencies. The device also supports spread-spectrum clocking, which reduces EM interference by evenly-distributing the clock frequencies over a selectable frequency range. This reduces peak power consumption and eliminates problems associated with EMI.In addition, the SI5338C-B07088-GM provides an integrated on-chip Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). This two-stage VCO provides an extremely low jitter solution for any clock and timing needs.
