The SI5340C-B-GMR is a new range of clock generators and jitter attenuators from Silicon Labs. It is designed specifically for high-performance, high-speed data communications applications, such as in industrial, embedded, and medical systems. The SI5340C-B-GMR is a highly integrated, low-jitter, PLL clock generator and integrated synthesizer. It provides up to 2.5 GHz of output frequency range with a low jitter of 200 fs. It is highly configurable and supports varied output buffer types selectable through the manufacturer’s I2C/SPI interface.The SI5340C-B-GMR is a high-performance, low-jitter clock generator, designed for communications applications including Ethernet and Fibre Channel. It features an integrated PLL and a fractional-N fractional-P synthesizer for output frequencies up to 2.5 GHz. It also features advanced jitter attenuation and input clock conditioning, as well as full remote management through the I2C/SPI interface. The SI5340C-B-GMR has two differential reference inputs, providing flexibility for redundant clock sources or for test and measurement. The SI5340C-B-GMR is designed for low-jitter clock generation and jitter attenuation of high-speed data waveforms. The internal PLL and fractional-N fractional-P synthesizer allow it to generate multiple, low-phase-noise outputs up to 2.5GHz. It supports multiple output buffer types, including CMOS, LVDS, HCSL, and LVPECL, as well as differential HyperTransport or PCIexpress outputs, as specified in the application. The SI5340C-B-GMR is also ideal for input-to-output clock conversion and clock multiplexing, allowing it to replace multiple clocks with a single consolidated clock. It also functions as a clock conditioner for input clocks with excessive jitter, reducing the phase noise and jitter at the output. The SI5340C-B-GMR is designed for applications such as industrial, medical, and embedded systems that need low-jitter clocks to allow the transmission of high-speed data over long distances. It is ideal for data center interconnect, Ethernet and Fibre Channel, high-performance computing, industrial automation, medical imaging, avionics, and high-speed I/O interfaces. The SI5340C-B-GMR is a highly integrated, low-jitter, PLL-based clock generator/synthesizer and jitter attenuator. It is designed for a broad range of applications that require low jitter clock signals, from high-speed data communications and industrial systems, to medical imaging and avionics. The internal PLL and fractional-N fractional-P synthesizer, along with the integrated jitter attenuation features, provide a low-jitter, high-frequency clock up to2.5 GHz with output buffer types selectable through the I2C/SPI interface, making it a versatile and powerful clock generator/synthesizer/jitter attenuator solution.
